Many think that fishing in muddy water is a waste of time. However, if it's done properly fishing in muddy water can lead to great success, watch and learn.
This angler was using a 8.5-foot Maxxon Stonefly rod with a 4-weight, in case you wanted to know.
There are two things to keep in mind when fishing muddy water, fish right after the storm and use dark-colored flies. When you get to the river start looking for a spot near the banks and slowly move further into the faster current. Good fishing holes may have moved after the storm since the rain will cause the current to pick up.
