Since 1998, this pond in Kennewick, Washington, has been the location for a fishing derby. Check out this footage as workers load the Columbia Park pond with thousands of lunkers.
Did you see the size of some of those fish? They looked to be larger than some of the young kids that participate in the derby.
According to the organizer, Ken Johanning, this event brings over 1,500 young anglers to the park to learn more about fishing and the great outdoors. Volunteering at events like these are just one of the many ways to give back to your community and show others the art of fishing.
